Slide-In, Enclosure or Picture Frame: Which Mount Suits You?
Slide-in: for daily switching
With the slide-in mount, you slide your tablet into the mount from the side and take it out at any time within seconds, without tools. That suits places where the tablet regularly ends up in your hand:
- Kitchen: read a recipe on the wall, take the tablet along for shopping.
- Living room: on the couch in the evening, on the wall during the day.
- Home office: dashboard in the morning, video call at the desk in the afternoon.
Enclosure: for a fixed installation
With the enclosure mount, you insert your tablet and screw on the cover - the mount is designed for a firm hold. The frame covers the buttons and helps avoid accidental inputs. That suits places where the tablet stays on the wall permanently:
- Smart home: control panel for lights, heating and cameras, for example with Home Assistant or ioBroker.
- Practices and reception areas: check-in, appointment display or feedback terminal.
- Retail: product catalog or checkout display.
Picture frame: for living spaces
The third line is the mount in picture frame design: your tablet sits behind a passe-partout and frame and looks like a framed picture on the wall. Display and front camera remain fully usable, the side buttons are covered. That suits places where the tablet should be part of the interior:
- Gallery wall: photo slideshow or digital art between real picture frames.
- Living room and hallway: a smart home dashboard that does not look like technology.
- Reception: info display in a discreet frame look.

With all of them, the charging cable runs concealed inside, display and front camera remain fully usable, and you can install in portrait or landscape orientation.
